Pahadian Sports Foundation Appreciates Kendrapada Rugby Football Association

Bhubaneswar, Odisha: 06 Sep 2026: Pahadian Sports Foundation appreciates the Kendrapada Rugby Football Association for its continued efforts to promote and develop rugby in Odisha. Despite being a district-level sports association, the organisation has made valuable efforts to encourage young people to take up rugby, remain connected with the sport, and pursue their sporting aspirations. The 2nd Rugby Sports Awards 2026 was a meaningful initiative to recognise and celebrate the dedication and achievements of sportspersons while motivating young athletes to continue their journey in rugby.

On this occasion, three members of the Pahadian Sports Foundation—Chittaranjan Murmu, Co-Founder; Bhagyalaxmi Barik, Vice-President; and Ronald Mitsi (Zimbabwe), Head Coach—were invited to attend the event.

Pahadian Sports Foundation congratulates the Kendrapada Rugby Football Association for its initiative and contribution towards strengthening the rugby community in Odisha. The Foundation looks forward to working together with the rugby fraternity to further promote and develop rugby across the state.
